Biography of a Producer :  Monica Miller Kennedy

Monica Kennedy started in front of the camera acting in independent films, commercials and corporate industrials as well as on stage.   She began producing by making the award winning documentary "Taylor's Story" to bring awareness to a rare form of cancer called Ewing's Sarcoma.  She went on to produce the feature length film "Descansos" with Charles Durning, Gary Busey and supermodel Cindy Taylor.  She wrote and produced the Casino Dealer Video School's "Learn to Deal!" series of DVD's.   She has served as production accountant, writer, script supervisor, set dresser and casting assistant on other film projects.  Besides completing the Florida Film & Entertainment Professional Development Series, she holds a Bachelor's degree in Finance from Central Michigan University and attended the University of Tampa's MBA program before becoming a successful investment broker for A.G. Edwards and Sons.   While a comptroller in her early years has prepared her to seek maximum profitability in any production, her recent creative work has proved she knows how to entertain.
